I'm New | Visitors' Information
Visiting a new church can be intimidating:
We understand the challenge of visiting a new church, so we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. Please feel free to contact us with any questions not covered here.

When are the services?
Our worship services are in person and on Zoom, Sundays at 10am.

What are the services like?
Our worship services last from 45-60 minutes, and include music, prayer, reflection, meditation, joy, sorrow, celebration, longing, and much more. Our Pastor leads us in receiving and wrestling with Holy Scripture as we connect with God through all that life brings us.
What should I wear?
Clothes. Seriously, just wear clothes. If you wear a nice dress, or a suit and tie, you won't be alone. If you wear jeans and a t-shirt, you'll fit right in. Simply come as you are.

What about my children?
Children are welcome, and Pastor Sarah has a conversation with the younger church just before the sermon. Each Wednesday a new You Tube video for children is posted to the St. Andrew’s channel and on Facebook. Please contact the church office if you wish to subscribe to the Children’s Ministry newsletter.

Are you going to ask for my money?
No. As our guest, we don't expect your money. Come and enjoy yourself.

Where can I learn more?
Feel free to sign up to receive our weekly eNews to hear all that is going on at St. Andrew's Church.

Where are you located?
We are at the corner of Dosch Rd. and Sunset Blvd. in Southwest Portland. Click here for a map.

More questions?
We'd love to answer any of your questions. Feel free to contact the church office by e-mail or telephone during office hours (Monday – Thursday, 8:30am – 2:30 pm.)

We hope to see you soon at St. Andrew's Church!

I like St. Andrew's! How can I become a member?
Please contact the church office if you are considering membership. Preparation for membership typically involves a meeting with the pastor, a class to answer your questions and give you an overview of our faith and service, a meeting with the governing board, and a special worship service.
A companion member of your choice will help you navigate through the first few months of membership. They will connect you to other members and provide information about special worship services, events, and service opportunities.
FELLOWSHIP
We have service and study groups.
The St. Andrew's Quilters meet twice a month to create a variety of fabric items for the community and to fund their mission. Items for donation or sale include quilts, dresses, masks, potholders, and dog beds. Please contact the church office to connect with this group.

Women's Retreats are held biennially, from a Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon. Our retreats feature time for fellowship and opportunities to get to know each other, relaxing activities like crafts, massage, yoga and hiking. The retreats are led by members, sometime with a special speaker who will help us to learn more about how to live a faith-filled life.
