Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.
I John 3:18
Presbyterians believe that an essential component of faith includes giving routinely of time, money, and abilities given to us by God. At St. Andrew’s Presbyterian, members become informed of and engaged in a wide variety of needs. Some are local, while others are global.

- Habitat for Humanity
-
The work of Habitat for Humanity is driven by the desire to give tangible
expression to the love of God through the work of eliminating poverty

of the hammer".

The vision for OCCV is to transform Oregon through a network of Christian citizens, rooted in the Word, active in the public arena, bolding proclaiming the fullness of Christ’s vision for humanity, and empowered to work together to shape public policy for the common good. They seek to reach beyond the traditional “moral values” issues often discussed in American politics today. They call on Christians to reclaim the prophetic, transformational vision for culture and society that reverberates in the teachings of Jesus.
- Giving Tree
- Toys and clothes are collected at Christmas and distributed to children through Neighborhood House, and West Women’s and Children’s Shelter.

Using Jesus as the primary example for Christian action in the world, St. Andrew’s endeavors to make the world a better place by sharing God’s compassion for all people through group and individual acts of witness and service.
