- "The Asphalt Gospel"
Begins Sunday, March 30, 9:00 a.m. -
- A 2,500 mile life-changing walk across America . . . On Easter 2006, six ordinary
people left their homes, jobs and families for a journey on foot into the heart
of America. "The Asphalt Gospel" tells their story of determination
to spread a message of compassion and inclusion in the midst of the intolerance
of the Christian Right. Join them as they walk to Washington, D.C. and share their surprising
and moving story of hope. We will view and discuss this 90-minute documentary
in five segments: Sundays, March 30, April 6, April 13, April 20, and April 27.
- "Troublesome Bible Passages"
Begins Sunday, March 30, 11:15 a.m. -
- Are there contradictions in the Bible? Did Jesus give some opposing messages?
Are the Ten Commandments applicable to all cultures? We are all sinners, but
it is because of Adam and Eve's sin or our own? Why did the laborers who came
late to work in Jesus' parable receive the same wages as the ones who worked
all day? The Bible has many passages that are not fully understood, so we often
ignore or overlook them. "Troublesome Bible Passages" will examine a number
of Scripture passages that fall into this category. Join us for a series of
eight lively discussions that begin on Sunday, March 30 and continue through
Sunday, May 18.
- "Adult Forum: "Aging with Grace"

no-go years. Making creative, life-enhancing plans for our future. For adults
of all ages. Sponsored by St. Andrew's Board of Deacons Health Care Ministries.
- "Adult Forum: "Powerful Tools for Caregivers"

help, take care of yourself, reduce guilt, anger,
and depression, help you relax, make tough decisions, set goals and problem-solve.
