St. Andrew's Foundation
Invest in the Future!Purpose
The St. Andrew's Foundation is a vehicle for Christian stewardship funded primarily from gifts of accumulated assets, rather than from annual income. The Foundation acts as a perpetual trustee and administrator of gifts from members and friends of the Church. Toward that end, the Foundation oversees a planned giving program to assist members and friends of the Church with estate planning and preparation of wills. The church session works closely with the Foundation to direct disbursement of foundation assets based on the priorities and vision of the Church.
Uses of Foundation Assets
The Foundation's assets are used to support the priorities and vision of the Church. Specific causes funded include: facility enhancement; capital improvements; maintenance of the church property; local and global mission; and youth and children's ministries.
All Gifts Are Appreciated
Gifts of any amount will be received with gratitude. Gifts may be designated for specific purposes that fall within the vision and priorities of the Session. Undesignated gifts will be used for the needs and priorities of the church as determined by the Foundation and the Session.
Endowment gifts are frequently thought to be the domain of the wealthy, but in truth the average gift is between $5,000 and $10,000. Most gifts come from people like you - school teachers, small-business owners, social workers, doctors, attorneys - who love the church and wish their gifts to benefit the church over a long period.
