Sunday Morning –

      Sunday School at 9 AM
We meet in the Coffee Lounge at 9 AM to grab an espresso drink and explore life, often spurred by a video, movie, or special speaker.

       Worship at 10 AM

Join the St. Andrew’s church family in the sanctuary to give praise to our Creator and Lord, to hear the Word of God proclaimed, and to join in bringing love, joy, hope, and peace to our neighborhood.

        Special Events Throughout the year.
Kickoff Sunday Couch Olympics, Corn Maze, Laser Tag, etc. often happen on Sunday afternoons or evenings.

Mission –
On the 4th Sunday Night of each month, we go to Shepherd's Door (Portland Rescue Mission) to cook, serve, and eat dinner with the courageous women and children who live there.

The high school mission trip has been a central feature of St. Andrew’s Youth Ministry for a long time. We have a partnership with the Bay Area Rescue Mission in Richmond, California that started in the Summer of 2010.  We will be serving with them again at Christmas time and next Summer.  We also have a long history of building houses with Amor Ministries in Tijuana, Mexico over Spring Break.

Special Events –

We have special events on a monthly basis, such as the Sr. High Fall Retreat, Middle School Mania, Winter Ski Retreat, 30 Hour Famine, CPYA*, Spring Explosion*, and Summer Camps.

* CPYA and Spring Explosion are all-area youth group gatherings, for high school and middle school, respectively.

The Leadership Team –

Jeremy Watson is the Associate Pastor of Family Life, and oversees the youth ministry.  He works on the Youth Team with Marie Dolson (elder), Brad Van Allen, Emily Dew, and Laura Faulkner, and together they recruit a number of students and adults to lead the youth ministry. Email Jeremy at jeremy.d.watson@gmail.com

Getting Connected –
There are so many ways to be connected these days.  Emailing or calling (503-246-4276) with all of your information is the best way.  You can also search Facebook and find Jeremy Watson or St. Andrew’s Salt Company and get connected that way.  Text message announcements are sent regularly as well, if that’s your preference.

We call our Youth Programs “The Salt Company” after Jesus’ saying in Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth.”
